In many countries, a value-added tax (VAT) is charged on goods and services; as a way of taxing people for what they consume rather than what they add to the economy. In some countries, international visitors can get a VAT refund on certain shopping items. The refund, however, is only possible if the visitor takes the item/s back with them to their home country.

Hold on to your receipt until after you`ve redeemed your refund, in case it is needed for validation or processing purposes.

Samar does not transact or issue payments, we only help you manage the process of redeeming your refund. You can however find details on where and how to redeem your refund in the 'How To' section of our app.
